Berkshire Gas Stove – Lopi

The Berkshire gas stove is Lopi’s medium-sized gas stove. With 3-sided glass, the Berkshire gas stove offers 343 sq.in. of viewing glass with an impressive 31,000 BTU’s and heating capabilities of up to 1,500 square feet.  This stove is ideal for zonal heating in larger areas of your home. This solidly built stove features decorative cast iron on the outside with a heavy gauge uni-body steel firebox for added durability on the inside. The Berkshire gas stove features a highly detailed log set and comes standard with interior accent lighting and a 130CFM fan. It also features the award-winning Ember-Fyre burner technology; it’s the most realistic gas fire available. It’s so realistic that Popular Science magazine awarded the Ember-Fyre burner as one of its top 100 innovations of the year. The Berkshire gas stove also comes standard with the GreenSmart remote control, which allows you to control every function of this stove from the comfort of your favorite chair.

The GreenSmart remote control is capable of adjusting flame height, fan speed, accent lights, and Comfort Control. The Comfort Control feature automatically turns off the back burner, allowing you to burn less gas while still allowing you to enjoy a fire without overheating your room. You can run your Berkshire gas stove in Continuous Pilot mode or GreenSmart pilot mode. In Continuous Pilot mode, the pilot flame is always on, this is ideal during colder temperatures because it keeps the flue warm, chimney caps free of ice and snow, and reduces condensation build up on the glass. In GreenSmart mode, the pilot flame ignites via an intermittent IPI spark when the room calls for heat, conserving gas usage when the stove is not in operation. The GreenSmart built-in battery backup allows continued operation of your gas stove even during power outages and conveniently it automatically switches back to AC when the power comes back on. To ensure maximum safety and enjoyment of your Lopi cast iron gas stove, we feature the ANSI approved invisible glass safety screen to prevent accidental contact with hot glass surfaces. This screen comes installed over all of the glass, acting as a safety barrier without detracting from the beautiful fire view.
